Turning the Page: A Leap into the New Year Adventure


WELCOME! to chapter two of our blog. 2023 was a year of firsts as it was the blog's birth year. Moving into 2024, we have some goals for the blog to stay connected and hopefully expand our audience as we go.

We have been and will always will be about keeping it real and staying true to ourselves and our schedules, and 2024 isn’t gonna be any different.

We're envisioning a year of growth, both personally and for our blog and podcast. As the new year begins, it's a time for reflection on the past and setting ambitious goals for the future.

In our first podcast episode of 2024, we will delve into a reflection on the twists and turns of 2023, a truly remarkable year for us. The inception of this project, along with our podcast, has been a journey beyond our initial expectations. Gratefully, we have gathered a community of 12 followers on Spotify, and a dedicated readership for our weekly blogs. To everyone who reads and listens, we extend our heartfelt thanks as we continue to learn and evolve. Looking ahead, 2024 holds the promise of transforming our project into something more significant. To achieve this, we have set ourselves specific goals for the blog and podcast. Our main goal for 2024 is to build a community around our blog and podcast. Knowing this we are taking first taking it month by month as we incorporate:

Social Media Calendar/Outline

Leah is diligently working on crafting a social media calendar/outline. Recognizing the importance of algorithms on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter, we aim to increase our visibility by adopting a more consistent posting schedule.

One Guest per Month on the Podcast

We are excited to introduce a new element to our podcast by inviting a guest each month to discuss various topics, including our "Traveling in Your 20s" series. This addition not only enhances the diversity of our content but also serves as a strategy to broaden our reach and attract more listeners. While we've already lined up a guest for January, we'll keep the details a surprise for you!

Lastly it is our goal to have certain blog themes. Toward the end of 2023, we tried to incorporate this. We want to stay true to our priority of keeping it real so our themes will revolve around our interests and what is happening in our lives. In 2024, we plan to incorporate themes that will allow us to continue to be open and real with all of you!
